In my previous post, I told you about my time spent at Syiah Kuala beach, apart from enjoying the view there was something else that also caught my attention. It was the presence of crabs going in and out of the hole they had dug not far from where I was sitting.
The main color of the crab was a slightly darker purple with some patterns that seemed to fill the upper shell. The size of these crabs is not so big, my estimation is probably even smaller than the size of an adult's palm. Before making this post, I had tried to find the name of this crab by doing image identification, but unfortunately, none of the results that came up looked similar to what I saw.
At the time, there were at least more than 5 individual crabs that I found digging in the sand. I'm sure that there must have been many more holes made by other crabs, but I just didn't realize it. I am still curious about the species of this crab, if you know what it is, please let me know. Thank You!
That's all for this little story and some pictures with different perspectives of this dweller crab. Thanks for stopping by and reading this post, I hope you like it. Feel free to leave a comment.
