Hello, today I would like to show you some rare animals we found before the lockdown:
The cool thing was we found some peacocks, I learned some things about them. Did you know that the male peacocks have the colorful feathers and the female peacocks do not? The females have the light brown feathers.
We also found a flamingo and a swan! :) I like them because the flamingo is pink. Pink is my favorite color and under the flamingos pink feathers it has black feathers. I heard that a flamingo naturally has black feathers.
How does a flamingo have pink feathers, even though a flamingo naturally has black feathers? Well, the people give the flamingos food and drinks that make them pink. Have you ever seen a flamingo drink or eat something pink? That's why the flamingo is getting pink! :)
Swans are pretty cool too. There are black ones and white ones and I love them because they look so clean and graceful. I am not sure if they are really naturally black or white though because sometimes when I see a flying swan I see that it also has black feathers under the white but I am not sure if a swan is naturally white or black or both. Anyways, they both look so awesome, I just had to mention it.
This is an iguana we found. Some of you might know that an iguana is a lizard or that there are marine iguanas too. If you don't know what marine iguanas are, they're iguanas that live in the ocean! When I mentioned that iguanas are lizards, you might know that lizards can change colors to hide from other creatures that want to eat them. Did you know that Iguanas can change colors too?
