Amazing nature of Zlatar mountain

Hello everyone, this is my entry for the Amazing Nature Contest: FREE TOPIC - #2/5/22. I am happy to participate again. 🙂

I live in Serbia and Serbia has beautiful mountains. I consider them our greatest natural treasure. Last time I wrote about Tara mountain and today I will introduce you to Zlatar because of its amazing nature.

Zlatar Mountain is located in the southwest of Serbia and is considered an air spa due to its diverse flora and clean air. Everything here smells of health. Pastures, forests, meadows, rivers, lakes, food, and air.

Wherever you turn, nature will make you admire it.

What is most admirable to me here is the river Uvac and Zlatar lake, one of the few lakes in the valley of this amazing river. Uvac has a winding stream which makes it a special tourist attraction.

This mountain has the largest number of sunny days of all places in Serbia during the year, so there are great chances to enjoy the beautiful weather whenever you go.

Another reason why I consider this place amazing nature is the Ice Cave.

The Ice Cave is accessible to a small number of visitors because it can only be reached by boat on Lake Uvac.

What is fascinating about this cave is that the temperature in it is always the same during summer and winter and is 8 degrees.

This place is known for good cheese and many people take care of animals, sheep, goats, and cows.

Whatever you drink and eat here is very healthy. When we arrived, the host of the house where we were staying served us homemade meat products and homemade cheese. And an alcoholic drink called "rakija", a very popular drink in my country that is usually made of plums, but this one was made of apples.

On this mountain, it is best to find accommodation in wooden houses to have a complete impression of amazing nature because these houses are located in a very pleasant and natural environment.
