One thing I love about living in El Salvador is waking up to a beautiful sunrise and the sound of the birds singing.
It doesn't get better than this. What a great way to start your day.
As soon as I wake up, I open my sliding glass doors to my backyard to enjoy the sun just to start to come out and the birds are always singing.
I stay ouside on my deck, which is just paved and tiled floor and enjoy the morning nature, every day. That is just what I really enjoy and look forward every morning.
Even though it is winter here right now, 98% of mornings ate still nice and sunny, which I love. It almost always rains in the evenings or during the night, which is perfect.
We, (I and my husband, and sometimes Jordan when he doesn't have morning soccer practice) also eat or drink our coffee, and my water with lemon outside, just because we love sitting outside in our backyard, enjoying the nature.
I don't believe in keeping birds in cages, because I think it's like keeping them in jail. Birds are made for flying and being free, so I always feel bad for the birds locked in cages, even though people take good card of them.
My mother in law for example loves the birds, and she always has birds in her house and she even had few here, but when we got here, I just couldn't watch the poor bird being locked and never able to fly, so we opened the cage to see what he will do. After few days of going outsidd the cage and stretching out his wings, and flying around the yard, he flew away.
I am not sure if he survived or not, but at least he got to fly free and be a bird and we loved watching him fly.
We don't need to have a bird or birds here, since we have all different kinds of wild birds singing for us every day, and we love it and enjoy it.
