While going to Jordan's soccer game in West Vancouver, which we have never been there before, we got a very nice surprise.
The soccer fields were right next to the beach, which we were not expecting at all. I was so excited that we could actually walk to the beach especially since it was a nice day/ evening and we had an hour of free time before Jordan's soccer game started.
The soccerfields were right next to the beach parking lot, which is so cool because the West Vancouver soccer team can go to the beach and do some swimming right after their games or practices during summer months .
The beach was very nice and the water was actually very clean. I loves all the logs where people can sit on them or just use it for privacy.
There were about 5 container ships waiting for their turn.
And here I am. Sitting on the log enjoying the beach. I had a hard time getting on it, since I am not a tall person and the log was slippery and big. 😉😁
I couldn't get on it from this side so I had to get on it from the other side of the log 😅.
There was even a basketball court and scateboard park right at the beach.
There was also a cute restaurant where you could also just buy something to drink or some iceacream, which is great and very convenient.
We kept on walking until we got to the other part of the beach from the city side, where you could also rent all the water toys, like water board, kayaks, boats, etc. Few people were actually swimming and using the water boards etc. which for me is still too cold.
There was this old pier, which half of it was actually closed off since it looked very old or very damaged.
And we ended our awesome beach walk with a sun going slowly down.
Now we just have to cross these train tracks and we are ready to watch Jordan's game.
But what a wonderful surprise we got coming here. I can't wait to come back here for another game so we can enjoy the beach again.
Or maybe we will just have to come here just to enjoy the beach and a nice swim when it gets hot. It took us 30 minutes to get here, so it's nog too bad and it looks like there is quite a bit of parking space here.
