I was so happy and excited last week to see the first signs of Spring with the beautiful Spring flowers coming back to life and blooming and the next day, which was Tuesday, all of it was covered with snow, which made me so sad.
This is way too late for Vancouver to be snowing at this time but what can you do. Complaining will not do anybody any good so I guess I mind as well enjoy the beauty of the white snow.
This was the second day after the snowfall, since the day of the snowfall, I could go for walk since the sidewalks and streets were not cleaned.
We are super lucky that it only snowed for the one day, which wasn't even in the day, but through out the whole night that we got all that snow here in Surrey, but I believe Vancouver and Nanaimo got way more snow and since then it just has been melting.
The good thing was that the first day of the snow fall, half of it already has melted it.
I think that this coming week I will get to see the flowers blooming again, that is if they survived under quite a bit of snow.
This was the third day after the snow fall and it was just so beautiful and sunny outside.
I am really looking forward my lunch walks this coming week and see all the green grass again and all the flowers blooming again.
And what I am really excited about is that next week is the daylight savings, which means longer day, which means, I get to spend more time outside in nature, because now I will be able not only go for walks on my lunch time, but also after work. Yay.
