Hi Hive Lovers
On one trip, I witnessed two elephants in a slow-moving truck. It looked like two "tame" elephants; I followed them for about seven minutes.
Actually, I don't really follow them; I just follow the traffic rules in the form of a yellow line extending (which does not break) in the middle of the road, which means I may not overtake the vehicle in front of me.
These two large-bodied animals are actually in an open truck bed. My mind drifted. Seven minutes behind the elephants is torture for my heart and mind.
I really hope the yellow line disappears and soon meets the dotted white line so I can get ahead of them. I want the two elephants to disappear from my sight immediately.
I've always felt sorry for wild animals that have had to adapt to human life. That's why I always refuse to visit the zoo. My heart and mind cannot stand to see these animals lose their natural gifts and freedom.
Seven minutes behind the elephants really tortured me. The two of them seemed to be struggling to maintain their balance due to the movement of the truck that was carrying them. It must not be easy for wild animals that have been tamed, if they really have been tamed.
My mind really drifted
What were the elephants thinking when they looked around them in the wilderness? which should be their natural home.
How did the two of them get in and out of the tailgate? It's impossible to use a ladder; maybe use a place that is the same height as the floor of the truck bed. Or was it possible for the two of them to climb it?
What did the two feel when they followed the movement of the truck? Are we similar to people on a rollercoaster?Would they both stagger when they arrived at their destination, be nauseous, and vomit?
It looked like the two of them were about to "kick out" their own siblings
Recently, it was reported that in some areas, there is frequent disturbance of people's plantations by herds of wild elephants. My guess is that the two elephants that were in the truck were transported to the plantation area that was being disturbed. Both of them will "drive away" a herd of wild elephants—the brothers of these two elephants themselves.
(Actually, who is disturbing who: elephants disturbing the human area, or humans disturbing the elephant area?)
Humans "forced" these two tame elephants to face their own brothers, driving their own brothers away. while they are both in the "chain of control" of humans. What will the herd of wild elephants say to the two of them when they meet?
I forgot that animals don't think. They have no mind. Only we as "humans" have thoughts.
