We love pleasure entertainment. How many of us do nothing for pleasure. What is the harm to others for our little pleasure entertainment! We need entertainment. That is why we have no problem even if the normal life of other animals is disrupted. People are capturing wild animals in cages day after day for fun and taking pleasure from them.
It is really unfortunate that we have become so selfish that we only seek our own pleasure. That is why today we disrupt the normal life of other animals and keep them in cages. This is disrupting the normal life of many animals. That is why zoos and recreation centers are being set up at the state level or at the private level. And in those zoos different species of animals are kept.
Last month, I visited Meghalaya, one of the tourist destinations in the hilly region of Bandarban in our country. It is basically a hilly region. I saw that the tourist center kept some animals in cages. Who are living a very miserable life. In fact, their normal lives are being severely disrupted. Such as this creature. It is trapped in a cage. There were many problems starting from lack of food.
Seeing these, it was understood that these are not well taken care of. Moreover, all the tourists who come to see them are trying to arouse them in different ways or to wake them up with sticks or to throw stones at them. Sometimes it gets annoyed and goes to bed on one side. Honestly on the one hand I got such entertainment. But on the other hand, it felt bad. Because it is better to be there where the animal is suitable. There is a proverb in Bengal which says: Wild people are beautiful in the forest and children are beautiful in the mother's womb.
But we have nothing to do with it because it is a state-made tourist area. So these are regulated by the state. However, their miserable life sometimes gives a lot of trouble. Because they can't move normally. Which is very sad.
