Although it does not grow in a garden, and only grows wildly on a side of the road, it is still seen as an ornamental plant. It is a plant from the amaranth family. Celosia spicata is one of the species of the genus Celosia that can beautify and provide a pleasant atmosphere even though it is a marshy land and bushes around it. The flowers are visited by several insects, and here I caught several wasps busy with the flowers.
Actually I was in a wetland area, where during the rice planting season, the land was used as a rice field, but outside that season, water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica) creeps in there, and it looks as if it is also decorating the natural surface there. May it be a pleasant sight!
