I have not been on a nature walk for a little while, with work and other chores interrupting my free space has been a little stressing so today I had decided it was going to be my time all my time, so I headed of into the jungle to see what I could find and even though summer has come to a end in our part of the world and heading into winter, we are still getting many lovely warm days, but a little cooler and today was one of them so I was going to make the best of that, I had caught up with all my work and earned myself a free day.
At this time of the year we still have lots of beautiful flowers around our coastal landscape walkways, but if you go further into the thick of the jungle you will find many other beautiful flowers still blooming and you wouldn't believe it, as soon as I stepped into the thick of the jungle, here was this enormous beautiful butterfly in front of my eyes, I thought by the time I get my camera armed he or she would be long gone as that always happens to me, but luckily enough he or she did not make a move and gave me one good shot making my walk to a good head start and just a little further along there was another butterfly, I don't know the names of these butterflies but they sure were pretty.
Next came up these beautiful assorted colors of Bougainville flowers these always make a nice colorful display in the jungle or anywhere they grow.
I always have this excitement within me when I am walking amongst nature not knowing what you are going to see or come across as long as it's no big snake, we in our Australian bushes have always got to keep our eyes peeled in every direction making sure your not going to step on any snake or run into a spider web that I hate getting tangled up in a spider web it freaks me out. Anyways here is some more pretty flowers I ran into and would much rather run into these then spider webs 🤣
This tall Cactus plant was just superb to see with newly flower buds and some buds had already bloomed in a amazing white-yellow color it looked spectacular not something you see in bloom everyday of the week it was just perfect timing for me to be out here today.
And after coming out of the jungle on my way home heading along the pathway, I came across another unusually Frangipani flower tree this one was in much fuller clusters and the flowers were much more curly with a much more yellow center with a reddish tinge another lovely species of the many Frangipani Flower tress.
There was something about this particular Frangipani flower the looks and the fragrance and seeing those little buds of flowers that were yet to bloom gave me a sense of love towards this flower, I couldn't stop taking photos of this adorable flower, I even took a couple of little branch home for my wife she was so delighted to see this flower she was straight out in the back yard to pot it up. Turned out to be a great day and a experiencing adventure.
