If there is something that Argentines cannot complain about, it is the beauty of our landscapes. We have all the colors and styles to see and there is variety for all tastes. Personally, one of the areas that I like the most is the south of my country: I think it is the most privileged due to its beautiful colorful mountains and its impressive mirror lakes. Despite being a somewhat expensive destination, if the lodging area is chosen intelligently, it is possible to reach the best landscapes only with public transport. That's what we did during our stay in Bariloche in the month of April this year: with a relatively low budget, my friend and I ended up contemplating the best scenarios that Argentina has to offer 😃.
Si hay algo de lo que no podemos quejarnos los argentinos es de la hermosura de nuestros paisajes. Tenemos todos los colores y estilos para ver y hay variedad para todos los gustos. En lo personal, una de las zonas que más me gusta es el sur de mi país: pienso yo que es la más privilegiada por sus hermosas montañas coloridas y sus imponentes lagos espejados. A pesar de ser un destino quizás un poco costoso, si se elige inteligentemente la zona de hospedaje, es posible llegar a los mejores paisajes tan solo con transporte público. Eso fue lo que hicimos durante nuestra estadía en Bariloche en el mes de Abril de este año: con un presupuesto relativamente bajo, mi amiga y yo terminamos contemplando los mejores escenarios que Argentina tiene para ofrecer 😃.
It's funny for me because at this moment I'm writing this post from a point of Argentina with completely opposite landscapes to the ones I saw on that occasion, and that diversity is what I love about my country. To this day, I have been to many places, but each one was unique and special to me. While we were in Bariloche, my friend and I made the most of our time, walking as much as we could, in places close to the hostel and others not so close, but which we could access with the regular bus 😃.
Es gracioso para mí porque en este momento estoy escribiendo esta publicación desde un punto de Argentina con paisajes totalmente opuestos a los que ví en esa oportunidad, y esa diversidad es la que amo de mi país. Al día de hoy, estuve en muchos lugares pero cada uno fue único y especial para mí. Mientras estábamos en Bariloche, mi amiga y yo aprovechamos al máximo nuestro tiempo, caminando todo lo que pudimos, en lugares cercanos al hostel y otros no tanto, pero a los que pudimos acceder con el colectivo regular 😃.
After traveling just forty minutes from the city center, we found Lake Gutierrez and its wide rocky coast. This lake had several beaches where you could go down and spend the day, but my friend and I decided to walk a bit before setting up our little picnic. This walk included going through the forest, where for the moment the landscape of the lake was covered a bit but it also peeked through the trees, generating these postcards surrounded by silhouettes. I really liked that effect 💕.
Después de alejarnos tan solo cuarenta minutos del centro de la ciudad, nos encontramos con el Lago Gutierrez y su amplia costa rocosa. Este lago tenía varias playas en las que podías bajar y pasar el día, pero mi amiga y yo decidimos caminar un poco antes de asentar nuestro pequeño picnic. Esta caminata incluía pasar por el bosque, donde por el momento el paisaje del lago se tapaba un poco pero igualmente asomaba entre los árboles, generando estas postales rodeadas de siluetas. Me gustó mucho ese efecto 💕.
We will have walked for about 20 minutes along the lake until we found a descent that looked good to rest for a while. It was almost sunset time, so we had to hurry if we wanted to enjoy the last hours of sun of the day. At that moment the sun was almost horizontal, but it gave the mountains their brightest color ❤️.
Habremos caminado unos 20 minutos al costado del lago hasta que encontramos una bajada que se veía bien para descansar un rato. Ya casi era la hora del atardecer, así que debíamos apurarnos si queríamos disfrutar de las últimas horas de sol del día. En ese momento el sol estaba casi horizontal, pero ponía a las montañas con su color más brillante ❤️.
Every time a tourist asks me for a recommendation on places to visit in Argentina, without a doubt I recommend the south of the country. The surroundings of the city of Bariloche in the province of Río Negro are the right setting if you like mountains and beautiful lakes. And the coolest thing about it is that getting there only cost us 150 ARS (less than 0.5 USD at that time). Therefore, the key is to stay in the center with the largest number of people, but because there is also the largest number of bus lines leaving everywhere 😃.
Cada vez que un turista me pide una recomendación sobre lugares a visitar en Argentina, sin dudas recomiendo el sur del país. Los alrededores de la ciudad de Bariloche en la provincia de Río Negro son el escenario indicado si te gustan las montañas y los lagos hermosos. Y lo más genial de todo, es que llegar hasta allá solo nos costó 150 ARS (menos de 0.5 USD en ese momento). Por eso, la clave es hospedarse en el centro con la mayor concurrencia de gente, pero porque ahí también se encuentra la mayor cantidad de líneas de colectivos partiendo hacia todos lados 😃.
While my friend and I sat for a while contemplating the landscape, this incredible bird approached us in search of food. I think they were already quite domesticated because what they were looking for were crumbs from one of the baked goods that visitors consume. It seems to me that I was more afraid of the birds than they were of me, because they came quite close to us and intimidated us. I have no idea what bird it was, but if you know, don't hesitate to let me know. Thank you ❤️.
Mientras mi amiga y yo nos sentamos un rato a contemplar el paisaje, esta increíble ave se nos acercó en busca de comida. Creo que ellas ya estaban bastante domesticadas porque lo que buscaban eran migas de alguno de los panificados que consumen los visitantes. Me parece que yo le tenía más miedo a las aves que ellas a mí, porque se nos acercaban bastante y nos intimidaban. No tengo idea de qué ave se trataba, pero si ustedes lo saben no duden en hacermelo saber. Gracias ❤️.
Although the sun had already gone down, there was still a bit of natural light but soon it was time to head back. Neither my friend nor I wanted darkness to find us in the middle of that path that looked beautiful during the day, but clearly didn't have even a bit of artificial light. I think seeing the sunrise on this beach must be great, but on this trip there was no chance to get up so early to witness it so we settled for this sunset 😅.
A pesar de que el sol ya había bajado, aún quedaba un poco de luz natural pero pronto fue hora de emprender el camino de regreso. Ni mi amiga ni yo queríamos que la oscuridad nos encuentre en medio de ese camino que de día se veía hermoso, pero que claramente no tenía ni un poco de luz artificial. Pienso que ver el amanecer en esta playa debe ser genial, pero en este viaje no había ninguna chance de levantarse tan temprano para presenciarlo así que nos conformamos con este atardecer 😅.
This is one of the landscapes that I saw with my own eyes and could believe. These places are the typical postcard beautiful ones that one could have as wallpaper, but at that moment it was there in real life, in front of me and I had gotten it for a great price. I was glad that we discovered this place to spend our afternoon accompanied by all that nature: we couldn't have chosen a better plan ❤️.
Este es uno de los paisajes que ví con mis propios ojos y podía creer. Estos lugares son las típicas postales hermosas que uno podía tener como fondo de pantalla, pero en ese momento estaba ahí en la vida real, frente a mí y había llegado a ella por un gran precio. Me alegré de que hayamos descubierto este lugar para pasar nuestra tarde acompañada de toda esa naturaleza: no podríamos haber elegido un mejor plan ❤️.
