The Yaas cyclone that has been affecting India heavily and Bangladesh has caused rain in many parts of Nepal including the capital city, Kathmandu. Bay of Bengal is the only see that's very close to Nepal and this weather is due to cyclone in Bay of Bengal. Its effect is more vivid in the eastern part of Nepal.
India has been badly affected by this cyclone where million of people have became homeless due to the cyclone and increasing water level in the river. Since Nepal is in a season of rainfall and thunderstorm, this cyclone will add more disaster in certain parts of Nepal mainly Terai region and people are warned of possible landslide and flood.
Mountain climbers too have been informed to return because of the cyclone effect where heavy snowfall is predicted to occur till Saturday. You can see the weather in my locality. Its pretty good, cool and clear here but sad to know it is affecting other areas of Nepal.
