Hello my dear nature lover friends, it's a pleasure to be here again after some time, wishing you all well doing what you are passionate about. I have always been amazed by all the beauty that we find in creation where the rarest transmits us that beauty that many do not understand, and today I share with you a friend that I found on my way home, it is a beautiful butterfly where it was a challenge to photograph it.

Whenever I go out and I find on my way with insects and flowers I like to photograph them and so with my cell phone I look for the reference to learn more about it on the internet, and thus expand knowledge in relation to what surrounds me, and I do not cease to feel admiration, for sure all that I will share with you for this beautiful community. Well my friends and so I found out that I came across a butterfly that is commonly called Owl, but referring to it in a scientific way its genus is Caligo of lepidoptera ditrisiae of the family Nymphalidae, where according to my source consulted include twenty species.

As you can see in the photographs is a very nice butterfly that I hope you like it because the work behind the camera was not very easy because at first, did not let me approach and deserved to do so because I did not want to zoom the camera as I was taking it from my mobile and did not want to subtract its beauty, something that caught my attention of this insect, is its wings that resemble the eyes of an owl, this will surely have its purpose of camouflage against the attack of predators.

This butterfly inhabits a large number of countries in South America and I am fortunate that in my country, Venezuela, is home to a great biodiversity of life, but many do not value all this, although the habitat of this type of butterfly is commonly the jungles today I could find it in my state Trujillo in a green area of the urbanization where I live, the size of its wings is large, visually I could calculate a size of ten centimeters or so.

When I come across all this beauty that surrounds us I like to share it with my family and people around me, and thus all expand knowledge to value that which for many is not important not knowing the space and function it fulfills in our wonderful planet, and in this particular I think there is a lot of work to do but as a phrase says for my region: change begins with oneself, and it is never too late to set an example, and I say this because many to see someone contemplate and photograph an insect, animal or thing see it as something rare.

Finally, my friends, I hope you like this butterfly as much as I did, and I invite you to share your experience when you come across these wonderful insects, remembering that they have the same right to inhabit this beautiful planet as we do, and for that reason we must protect them when we see that their space is reduced even though they are not an endangered species.

Hola mis queridos amigos amantes de la naturaleza, un gusto estar por acá de nuevo después de algún tiempo deseando que estén muy bien llevando a cabo aquello que los apasiona. Desde siempre no he dejado de sorprenderme de todo lo bello que encontramos en la creación donde lo más raro nos trasmite esa belleza que muchos no llegan a entender, y hoy les comparto una amiga que encontré camino a casa, se trata de un hermosa mariposa dónde fue un reto el poder fotografiarla.

Siempre que salgo y me encuentro en mi camino con insectos y flores me gusta fotografiarlos y así con mi móvil busco la referencia para conocer más de él por internet, y de esta manera ampliar conocimientos con relación a lo que me rodea, y no dejo de sentir admiración, de seguro todo eso lo compartiré con ustedes por esta hermosa comunidad. Bueno mis amigos y así me enteré que me tope con una Mariposa que vulgarmente se le llama Búho, pero refiriéndome a ella de una manera científica su género es Caligo de lepidópteros ditrisios de la familia Nymphalidae, dónde según mi fuente consultada incluyen veinte especies.

Cómo pueden observar en la fotografías es una mariposa muy linda que espero que les guste porque el trabajo tras camaras no fue muy sencillo debido que al principio, no me dejó acercarme y ameritaba hacerlo porque no quería ponerle zoom a la cámara ya que la estaba tomando de mi móvil y no quería restarle su belleza, algo que llamo mi atención de este insecto , es sus alas que se asemejan a los ojos de un búho, esto seguro tendrá su propósito de camuflaje ante el ataque de sus depredadores.

Está mariposa habita en una gran cantidad de países de Sudamérica y tengo la dicha que en mi país, Venezuela, es casa de una gran biodiversidad de vida, pero que muchos no valoran todo esto, aunque el habita de este tipo de mariposa es comúnmente el de las selvas hoy la pude encontrar en mi estado Trujillo en un área verde de la urbanización dónde vivo, el tamaño de sus alas es grande, visualmente pude calcularle un tamaño de diez centímetros más o menos.

Cuando me topo con toda esta belleza que nos rodea me gusta compartirla con mi familia y personas que me rodean, y de este modo todos ampliar conocimientos para valorar aquello que para muchos no es importante al no saber el espacio y función que cumple en nuestro maravilloso planeta, y en este particular creo que hay un gran trabajo por hacer pero como dice una frase por mi región : el cambio comienza por uno mismo, y nunca es tarde dar el ejemplo, y digo esto porque muchos al ver a alguien contemplar y fotografíar un insecto, animal o cosa lo ven como algo raro.

En fin mía amigos espero que les guste esta mariposa tanto como me agrado a mi, y los invito a compartir su experiencia al toparse con estos maravillosos insectos, recordando que ellos tienen el mismo derecho al habitar este hermoso planeta al igual que nosotros y por tal motivo debemos protegerlos al ver que su espacio se reduce a pesar de no ser una especie en extinción.
