La naturaleza es simplemente mágica, y si ponemos atención a los detalles, podemos ver las grandes lecciones que nos da a los seres humanos, quienes muchas veces por estar empeñados en dominarla, perdemos de vista lo que realmente importa.
De camino a casa me encontré una hilera de hormigas al borde de la vereda y aunque estaba cansada y un tanto apurada, me detuve a ver como trabajaban de manera organizada, llevando proviciones para sobrellevar el invierno que se avecina.
Para ellas pareciera que nada es imposible, y aunque tambaleando, algunas llevaban hojas que las superaban en tamaño.
De esa corta documentación de su esfuerzo me quedaron tantas lecciones y tantas ganas por mejorar lo bueno que ya tengo, que aunque desde antes las respetaba cuando las veía en sus labores, ahora más que nunca las admiro, hasta el punto que aunque ya soy una abeja en esta colmena, también quiero ser una hormiga.
Nature is simply magical, and if we pay attention to the details, we can see the great lessons it teaches us humans, who often lose sight of what really matters because we are determined to dominate it.
On my way home I found a row of ants on the edge of the sidewalk and although I was tired and in a hurry, I stopped to see how they were working in an organized way, carrying supplies to survive the coming winter.
For them it seemed that nothing was impossible, and though staggering, some were carrying leaves that outweighed them in size.
From that short documentation of their effort I have so many lessons and so much desire to improve the good things I already have, that although I used to respect them when I saw them at work, now more than ever I admire them, to the point that although I am already a bee in this hive, I also want to be an ant.
