This patch in the back.was started by about three transplants. They need partial shade, in an area that doesn't get to dry.

These I believe are called Sensitive ferns... They have broader leaves and haven't caught on as well as the Lady ferns. Area where you plant them will determine how well they do. Seeing where they thrive in the wild should be duplicated in your yard as best you can...

One thing to know is that ferns are generally deer resistant...
