Good Morning HIVE friends in this community. I wrote this article to share with you that there is a very beautiful place in my village, at the same time I will make this place my participation in a contest in this community with the theme FOLDING AND SEDIMENTS. This place is named Sipaholon which is the village name of the place.. according to www.ilmugeography.com. Folds are the shape of the earth's surface due to the activity of the plates inside the earth.
Actually there is no special research on this SIpoholon which has sedimentary rocks in it. however, after I matched some of the existing pictures and some information that I knew from www.Galuhpratiwi.my.id. That the types of sedimentary rocks found in the rocks in SIpaholon village are the types of limestone and Batudolomite rocks that I observed when I visited there with the same information provided on the Web. The website informs that “the characteristics of Limestone and Dolomite are thick, dense and have lots of fractures but have not turned into metamorphic rocks. Meanwhile, the notion of metamorphic rock that I remember in natural science lessons at junior high school was a sedimentary rock that had not changed its shape at all.
In this place we can see how beautiful the sedimentary rock is here with its black color which seems to form certain patterns as if it was deliberately made to spoil visitors who see it. Even though these rocks have existed for thousands of years ago and until now they have become a tourist attraction where behind the sedimentary rocks there are hot springs with high sulfur content.
We can climb these sedimentary rock paintings effortlessly with lots of tools and special skills like rock climbers. We just walked and were a little careful because the rocks we stepped on were a little sharp, so if we weren't careful when climbing these rocks we would stumble and get injured, of course.
Actually there are still many things that I want to tell you about the beauty of Batu in Sipoholon, but the limited information on this topic makes me afraid of wrong information that I will share with all HIVE friends. You can give me a lot of input if you have a lot more knowledge about Folds and Sediments. you can give me information And this place really represents my personality who likes nature but doesn't want things too complicated when I get it. That's all my post this time, greetings from us Tomi and Maya from the City of BInjai Indonesia and keep following our posts.
