Hello, friends! Today, I want to tell you
about my visit to the peaceful Mount
Salynn Monastery in Pyin Oo Lwin
Township. It's close to "Dat Taw Gyint"
waterfall, and it's a lovely place surrounded
by nature.
If you're coming from Manlay, it takes about
45 minutes by car. But if you're in Pyin Oo
Lwin, just a 15-minute drive will get you
there.
Before you even reach the monastery, you'll
be amazed by the beauty of nature. It's a
bit cold, especially in winter. As you enter
the monastery, a tall pagoda welcomes you
with ancient things that make you feel
peaceful.
Inside, there are big pillars and a Buddha
statue. If you're up for it, go to the top floor
for a beautiful view of the forest. They even
have benches where you can sit and enjoy
the natural beauty. You might feel a
spiritual vibe too.
Here's a tip: Bring your own food because
there aren't many restaurants. You can find
some near the Main Road. And don't forget
to bring warm clothes; it gets really cold in
the evening. If you want to stay longer, ask
the monk for permission and maybe make a
small donation.
I hope you liked hearing about my time at
Mount Salynn Monastery. Stay tuned for
more of my adventures!
