The photos that I publish today show how the wild life coexists with the civilization. More precisely they show how the cormorants used the light poles. The cormorants are sea birds very common in Antofagasta, and they used almost every possible space (but not easily accesible by human or other predators) near the coast.
Las fotografías de este post muestran como la vida silvestre convive con la civilización, más concretamente cómo los cormoranes utilizan los postes de luz y el alambrado aéreo, para posarse. Los cormoranes son una especie de ave marina, muy común en Antofagasta, de hecho invade casi todos los espacios disponibles (pero no fácilmente accesible por los seres humanos u otros depredadores) ubicadas en el borde costero.
On the foreground of the first photo there are the cormorants perched on light poles, behind it we can see part of the Antofagasta skylines nd at the background the silhouettes of the mountains located at the east of the city.
La primera foto muestra los cormoranes en el primer plano, en segundo plano se observa parte de los perfiles de las edificaciones más altas de esta ciudad del norte de Chile, y en el fondo la siluetas de las montañas de la cordillera de la costa, ubicadas al este de la ciudad.
