The housing estate where we live backs onto a nature reserve, where there are many entry and exit points with fire trails and lots of single tracks for the walkers and mountain bike riders. Luckily there is still plenty of untouched bush where lots of wildlife exists.
There is a grassy cleared strip which separates the houses from the bush for fire safety access reasons. This area is a favourite feeding spot for wallabies. We will often see them in either the early morning or late afternoon chewing away on the grass.
Usually, we can only get within about 10 metres of them before they hop away, so I am lucky the camera in the Samsung S21 phone has a decent zoom feature in it.
