Hola mis apreciados amigos, excelente semana para todos, hoy quiero mostrarles a ustedes este bonito proyecto que emprendió hace unos meses atrás mi papá y al cual decidí unirme con él, nuestro pequeño vivero y lo mejor de todo es que lo estamos construyendo en el porche de nuestra casa.
Hello my dear friends, excellent week for everyone, today I want to show you this beautiful project that my dad started a few months ago and which I decided to join with him, our small nursery and best of all is that we are building it on the porch of our house.
Esta idea surgió porque mi papá toda su vida prácticamente la ha dedicado a la hermosa labor de la agricultura, incluso por muchísimos años dirigió un terreno que fue de mi abuelo en el cual sembró muchísimas frutas y variedad de hortalizas y verduras, un sembradío muy hermoso pero que lamentablemente por distintas circunstancias se vio obligado a vender. La costumbre de mi papá de trabajar la tierra y estar atendiendo a sus plantas lo llevo a construir en nuestra casa esta especie de vivero, y yo al verlo por supuesto que me entusiasme con él debido a que me gusta muchísimo estar en contacto con la naturaleza.
This idea came up because my dad has practically dedicated his whole life to the beautiful work of agriculture, even for many years he managed a piece of land that belonged to my grandfather in which he planted many fruits and a variety of vegetables, a very beautiful plantation but unfortunately for various circumstances he was forced to sell it. My dad's habit of working the land and taking care of his plants led him to build this kind of nursery in our house, and when I saw it, of course I got excited about it because I love being in contact with nature.
Aquí tenemos sembrado de todo un poco: Parchita, cebollín, ají dulce, lechosa, tomate, espinacas, albahacas y ajo porro. Todas estas plantitas aun están en su etapa de crecimiento y desarrollo por lo cual estamos al pendiente de regarlas y brindarles los cuidados que ameritan todos los días, especialmente en las tardes nos dedicamos a la atención de ellas.
Here we have planted a little bit of everything: Parchita, chives, sweet bell pepper, lechosa, tomatoes, spinach, basil and garlic. All of these plants are still in their growth and development stage, so we are always looking forward to watering them and giving them the care they need every day, especially in the afternoons we dedicate ourselves to their care.
Contamos también con siembras de las que ya hemos obtenido cosechas como la yuca y unos deliciosos cambures que se producen, con un tamaño grandioso haciendo que todo el que pase por el frente de nuestra casa y vea esos racimos tan grandes quede maravillado, estas cosechas hasta ahora no han sido utilizadas para la venta, sino para nuestro propio consumo y obsequiar a nuestros allegados.
We also have crops of which we have already obtained harvests such as cassava and delicious cambures that are produced, with a great size making that everyone who passes by the front of our house and see those big bunches is amazed, these crops so far have not been used for sale, but for our own consumption and to give to our loved ones.
En nuestro pequeño vivero también tenemos hermosas flores como rosas, yxora enana y una muy llamativa cuando florece con su radiante color amarillo llamada capacho toda una belleza, a su vez contamos también con algunas plantas de uso medicinal como lo es la hierba mora, citrina entre otros que han sido de mucha ayuda para nosotros y los vecinos cuando de gripes o malestares generales se trata. Todo esto sembrado en los espacios que nos brinda el porche de mi casa, y eso que no les menciono acá todo lo que hay sembrado en nuestro patio (risas).
In our small nursery we also have beautiful flowers such as roses, dwarf yxora and a very striking when it blooms with its radiant yellow color called capacho all a beauty, in turn we also have some medicinal plants such as blackberry herb, citrine among others that have been very helpful to us and the neighbors when it comes to flu or general ailments. All this planted in the spaces that the porch of my house gives us, and I do not mention here everything that is planted in our yard (laughs).
Esta labor de trabajar la tierra realmente es muy hermosa, y merece ser dignificada todos los días, la satisfacción que te da el ver como poco a poco prosperan todas esas pequeñas semillitas que sembraste y que diariamente cuidas no tiene precio, que bonito seria si todos tomáramos un pedacito de nuestras tierras para trabajarlas y darle amor, cosa que a la vez nos beneficia a nosotros con las cosechas que obtengamos, y al mismo tiempo le brindamos un cariñito a nuestro planeta Tierra que tanto lo necesita.
This work of working the land is really beautiful, and deserves to be dignified every day, the satisfaction that gives you to see how little by little prosper all those little seeds that you sowed and that you take care of daily is priceless, how nice it would be if we all took a little piece of our land to work it and give it love, which at the same time benefits us with the crops we get, and at the same time we give a little love to our planet Earth that needs it so much.
