Investigando aprendí, que este tipo de telaraña es llamado Telarañas orbiculares. Este nido tiene la capacidad de estirarse y llegar a cubrir gran parte de un árbol o espacio vegetal. Su flexibilidad es extraordinaria. En estas imágenes se puede observar, dentro de la telaraña, un gran depósito de hojas y ramas secas caídas del árbol, lo que permite a nuestra tejedora, aplicar distintas estrategias para capturar presas.

Researching I learned, that this type of spider web is called Orbicular spider webs. This nest has the ability to stretch and cover a large part of a tree or plant space. Its flexibility is extraordinary. In these images you can see, inside the web, a large deposit of leaves and dry branches fallen from the tree, which allows our weaver to apply different strategies to capture prey.

Las telarañas orbiculares, son difíciles de construir, pero muy flexibles y resistentes. Cuando un insecto queda atrapado dentro de ese gran nido, siempre intenta huir y al hacerlo, tiende a deteriorar la telaraña, antes de que llegue ésta a devorarlo.
Orbicular webs are difficult to build, but very flexible and resistant. When an insect is trapped inside this large nest, it always tries to flee and, in doing so, tends to damage the web before it can devour it.
Lastimosamente, no logré capturar la imagen de la dueña de casa, pues se ocultó muy bien dentro de su refugio de hojas secas.
Unfortunately, I did not manage to capture the image of the owner of the house, as she hid very well inside her shelter of dry leaves.
