We live in a wild country of raw nature and vast beauty.
Oh yes, our sunsets are magical at times whenever the clouds play the game and there are some beautiful colors in here. A series of photos from the start of the sunset to the finish at the mountains.
It is whenever I see these scenic displays that I am transponded into the wild of Africa and just a pity that I did not have 2 Giraffes next to the tree in the first photo.
But I have a real wild peace when I look at this and no money can buy any of this, as it is all free for us to enjoy.
Come and have a look.
And so we have arrived to wait for the sunset.
In the meantime I played around a bit with my camera and here below is my shadow next to the shadow of the big old tree that I was standing under.
A clear shot of the tree's lovely shadow with the color of the mountains and the sky in the background.
This is our favorite tree and as you can see, the sunset has started.
Oh yes, raw nature speaks to my soul about the fact that it is how our lives were intended to be. But of course our strive after luxury and comfort have ruined the original design. I can so easily see myself running around clothed in buckskin and sleeping under the stars next to a fire every night. Primitive many would say, but there would be no traffic logjams, or waiting in queues, or any of the other modern ills to contend with. No taxes to pay and a time of freedom where only common sense ruled.
This was taken on our road back home.
Finally, I took the photo below from our garden back home and a human would be the size of an ant in that valley.
So different from our own prisons that we have created for ourselves in these modern times. Drinking purified or bottled water instead of sipping from a fresh mountain stream. Slipping around in showers instead of bathing under a waterfall. Eating artificial cancerous food instead of foraging in the wild for healthy edibles.
Sadly, our created comfort is never enough, our hospitals are full and all kinds of dangers create supreme discomfort.
Just doesn't make sense to my true African soul.
We hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.
May a peaceful Sunday be with all of you.
And That's All Friends.
