I have assembled some sights taken today to please your eyes.
Some mountain and landscapes and a surprise or two.
We had to renew our Cape wilderness membership cards and so we popped in to the offices at the local nature reserve. This is to allow us to visit all of the nature reserves in our area for free. I have posted some Sugar birds, Snapper turtles and other birds and animals that I found here.
In a second post today in #featheredfriends, I will show you some bird displays that they have in the office at the nature reserve.
So for now come and have a look at some beauty.
Here is an expanded view of the first photo.
Then a scene towards the left hand side.
Here's a look at a dam on the reserve and I saw something land in the reeds on that island in the dam.
So, I zoomed and found the bird that landed. It is a Cormorant.
In the next 4 photos I show you how we gradually reached the end of the day.
And there you have it. Another attempt by me to show you the beauty that we are blessed with here in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
We have a multitude of places available for visits, including the mountains at the one end and the ocean at the other. And so, it is always an adventure to go out there with my camera to find the beauty and to show it to you.
Nature is a place of healing. At least that is what we find. As it releases the stresses that we have to cope with. And believe me when I say that nowadays there are many more stresses that we have to face every day. So, it is always good to breathe the clean and fresh air in nature. And whenever we visit the ocean, to allow the sound of the waves to wash our souls.
So, my advice to anyone that carries heavy burdens is to get out there and to surrender to nature.
And That's All Friends.
