What do they become as adults?
The strong wind carried the familiar sound and we approached a water fountain on a farm.
Now I know that it is never easy to locate the origin of the sound, as the singer camouflages himself to prevent a raptor bird from catching him.
But this was my lucky day and I located the owner of the song. His name is Croak and he gave me a show.
Come and see.
Yes, they are Tadpoles, and for those that have not seen them, they are baby frogs.
Now tell me if you can see the adult frog here?
No? Let's have a closer look then and can you see him now?
Still cannot see him? Then try to see him here.
I tried to get his mouth open in song, but he was shy.
But finally he gave me a shy smile.
"Metamorphosis" is the wonderful process of tadpoles transforming into frogs. Very much the same as Dragonflies and Butterflies.
There are 5 cycles to a frog's transformation. 1. Eggs, 2. Tadpoles. 3. Froglets (2 small hind legs) 4. Young frog (Developing front legs and tail becomes shorter. At this stage the frog starts to climb out onto land). 5. Adult frog.

We use the same word, "Metamorphosis", as it means change, to explain our charity work when a gardener is transformed into a clerk via our skills training projects.
And That's All Friends.
