Here on the western bank of the Mississippi River lies the second largest city in Missouri. We don't get a lot of snow fall during the winter, as does to the north of us. The snow fall for the month of January can average from 7 inches to 0.8 inches. This year we will be on the very low end being that this is the first true snow we have had this season.
Many of the birds and squirrels that I love to photograph were hiding away this morning during the big snowfall. I got out and captured a few of them.
This is a male House Finch
Female Dark-Eyed Junco
Female Downy Woodpecker
2 Male House Finches
And my favorite a Grey Squirrel hiding under a bush.
