Went for a nice hike last week at the Rocky River Nature Center, just outside of Cleveland, Ohio.
There are thousands of acres to enjoy in the Cleveland Metroparks and those is but ones place I like to visit that is near my house.
There are enough stairs to lose count on your way up, but you have a lovely view of the Rocky River and a nice cliffside.
On the way up and around, we saw many beautiful plants and a few insects.
The flowers are beautiful.. You probably can't miss them...
... But the butterfly might be hard to spot!
It's about a mile or two walk loop that gives you a nice variety of views.
... From both the top and bottom!
The water level was a little higher than usual.
.. Look at the submerged sign!
View from the top into the river!
There's a ton of wasps or something here, but they were flying around and didn't come out that well.
Millions of years of erosion... And stuff
Don't worry, they give you a little landing every 20 steps, so you can catch your breath!
People are always walking up and down these for exercise.
As you can see, it's a nice variety of scenery, but not too far off the beaten path.
We are certainly lucky for our city to be surrounded by such beautiful greenery.
Thanks for reading... I Hope you liked my post!
