Being a vivid macro photographer, I do have something to share with you.
This post goes for #AmazingNature. Not a Thematic Challenge, as usual, and not for the weekly challenge - simply some examples of amazing nature, that is amazing for me personally.
When I go off to my yard without a cup of coffee and cigarette, to rest after the full working day, what can delight my eyes more than nature?
The snow is melting (again) and we have dirt and ice remains around, but the weather is really warm, so everything may change in a week. I really hope so!
The buds on the trees will start open, start the amazing blooming, start to show all the treasures the nature have created for us.
They were sleepin thru all of the winter, but now ready to go. Almost ready to burst!
When they start, they will be unstoppable (like the Hive growth, I believe... till the late autumn and next winter).
You may ask - where are these photographs from, if there is only dirt and slush around? .. These are cherry blossoms. Bird cherry blossoms in early June. It remains to wait a little, only 60 days, and I will have new photos. And I took this photograph a year ago. Have to look back, yes. Because the picture around is not very happy with its present, but it pleases with its potency, with what it promises, what it will be.
A cropped close-up version of the photo above.
When I shoot this bush and its blooming it was a little windy. I wanted to create focus stake from the photos but due to the wind, all of the pictures were smudgy, they didnt want to go well.
I tried to get down on the knees eventually, taking pics of the most lower branches, that were sweeping less from the wind. But it didnt help too much. hehe. So, you will see no sharp pictures with a bigger and deeper staked focus.
But I managed to get a few more or less sharp images. And decided to come back on the next day... and the next day turned out even more windy, and I stayed at home. And the next weekend when I visited the park, this bush already gone, i.e. wasnt blooming -- bird's cherry do not lasts long. But I managed to grab some apple tree flowers, instead :)) but I will leave them for some other day.
Oh, by the way. Let me educate you about the bird cherry a bit. Did you think that it is beautiful but useless, just an ornamental plant? No, this is not entirely true! Bird cherry, or Prinus Padus from the genus Plum, of the Pink family, has wide application in many fields, including homeopathy, medicine, cooking and cosmetology. Bird cherry contains a series of beneficial trace elements, vitamins and organic acids. Bird cherry is distinguished by a huge supply of iron, manganese, zinc, copper, cobalt, vitamins C, E and P. Bird cherry is also more valued because of its excellent anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties. Tea is made from bird cherry, which has a rich taste and pleasant aroma, as well as decoctions and infusions that strengthen physical health, increase vigor, tone, and give a surge of vitality.
Bird cherry is an excellent "raw material" for honey (honey plant).
In our household, we use bird cherry in another way: we add it to baked goods. If you haven't tried bird cherry flour, I strongly advise you to try it. Just don't put in too much! In small doses, it works wonders. Bird cherry flour, which is made from ground seeds (bird cherry seeds are small and very hard, I think you cannot make such flour on your own, although you can try :) I personally buy it in a store). So, such flour in small quantities gives the baked goods a Luxurious Almond Taste! Amazing, isn't it? But when there are too many additives, the taste deteriorates, the baked goods become too hard, "tinny", acquire a ferrous taste. So all good things have their limits.
Is it really really so sympatico looking? In fact, I slightly improved its appearance in Photoshop. But honestly, quite a bit! Below is an unedited version of the photo.
For me, it is an amazing masterpiece created by Mother Nature.
