Kahele Hill Hike 2 miles and 600 feet elevation, 4 miles total.
- I was enjoying the view into Waimulu Valley from my Kahele Hill Hike.
- Some hikes are 600-800 in elevation from Sea Level, and the only worry is the weather and dogs of the random Marijuana Farmer !
- I am getting back in shape, this hike took a lot of energy.
This is the sky over the Waianae Mountain Range looking West towards Ko’Olina

- It’s cloud shrouded and the sun is setting in the West, into the Pacific Ocean
This is of course a Waimulu Valley view to the South and Pearl Harbor’s West Lock - - This large natural Harbor is home to the US Navy Pacific Fleet, the largest Navy in the World.
- The view of the calm blue water of Pearl Harbor with the Pearl City Twin Towers is a great reward for hiking to the top of Kahele Hill.
These two are pictures of the clouds and mountain ridge line of the Waianae Mountains to the West.
- From Kahele Hill you look West to the Waianae Mountains.
- A lovely view with clouds low on the mountain peaks.
- The orange glow is the sign of the setting Sun.
Another view plane Northeast over the Pearl City Plains

- An enjoyable hike of 2 miles up and 2 miles down.
- A gradual elevation from zero to about 800 feet above sea level.
- Next time I will hike the Eastern Side of the Hill to enjoy the Southeastern views of the East Loch of Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head Crater.
