Hello Guys... How are you today?
(Dareut Island green grasshopper ®2021)
Dear Amazingnature Community, in this meeting, I will invite all of you to see one of the new habitats found in one of the islands known to the local community as Dareut Island.
Before telling everything that is beautiful and also something extraordinary on the island, I will first explain the origin and names that have been given by the local people who are in the area.
Island of Dareut
Dareut Island is an area that has a length of about 2 hectares and a width of about 100 meters, the shape of the island is exactly like the island of Sumatra when seen from above. But unfortunately I can't take pictures from above because I don't have one of the tools or the so-called Drone to make sure it's real.
(This is the initial departure for Dareut Island ®2021)
Dareut Island is located precisely in one of the fishing villages, namely a village on the outskirts of Lhokseumawe City which is still in the territory of Aceh Province, Indonesia. If you want to go to the island, then you only need to use a wooden boat or canoe with a distance of about 500 meters from the edge of the village.
Dareut Island, is not open to the public because there is no adequate security because its location is directly connected to the high seas or the Indian Ocean, it is feared that unwanted things will happen, if you want to see the certainty of its location then you just have to look at the Pinmapple Map which I have added in these posts, 👉 Pusong Lama Lhokseumawe Aceh
If it's not open to the public why can I?
This is because I am a native son of a resident here who was born and raised in this area, so automatically I am very familiar with this Medan, even so I still provide safety equipment because I am afraid of a sudden big wave.
However, today the air temperature was on our side, because the weather was very peaceful, there was no wind and big waves, so I could more freely travel from the edge of the village until I arrived safely, not a thing was missing.

The origin of the name Dareut Island
If you hear the name of the island being affixed, it means the habitat in it. Dareut Island itself is adopted from the Aceh language itself which means, Island means the location of a pile of land that stands foreign to the village, while Dareut itself is adopted from the name insect which means grasshopper, of course, has a long history of naming islands. Because in 1987 Dareut Island was still beautiful and had not been damaged by a major disaster, namely the tsunami that occurred several years ago. At that time the island was inhabited by thousands and even millions of grasshoppers of various types which became large nests in every wild tree. So that's why the people in the 1987s dubbed it Belalang Island or Puole Dareut.

After a long time has passed, today I took the time to visit the area by using a wooden boat belonging to my cousin who happens to be a fisherman.
When I arrived at the area, I saw a very amazing view, one of the photos below is the first photo I got to the location of the island which is very beautiful.
It turned out that when I was on the island, I saw a very special sight, namely there are still grasshoppers that inhabit every plant like the kapok plant that you see in this post.

The one visible in the Island location
When we were in the location of Dareut Island, there were lots of habitats seen in it, if you are in that area, of course you will be happy because there are so many objects that will be told here, especially on Hive.blog. From my vision, it turns out that there are various habitats such as:
- Insect species
- Bird species
- Plant species
- and some others that I do not upload pictures here.
Why...
Because, I will tell the story in the next post.
(Grasshoppers and their nests ®2021)
Among the many inhabitants of the island who are included in the category of wild habitat, I am very interested in one of the animals belonging to an insect species, namely grasshoppers.
Apparently, what I saw was a lot of green and yellow grasshoppers (in the next post I will post it) and also various species that I saw. Among the many species of insects, I was attracted by one of the green grasshoppers that had broken off its left leg, but it remained silent in one of its chosen plants and was also its nest, because I saw that it could disguise itself with the color of the leaves of the plants on which it rested.

Grasshoppers here (on the island) are very wild, meaning they will immediately jump in another direction when they sense our presence, thus, it can be ascertained that this small island is rarely visited by everyone, only certain people stop by at this location.
Of course, only a few fishermen often visit this area, while people who are not fishermen rarely visit it, this is because the terrain is rather complicated.

I was very happy to take a photo of one of the grasshoppers that had broken its leg, it was standing on one of the wild plants that grew by itself in the location of the Island. Her posture is so beautiful like a great athleticism that I am amazed and don't feel bored looking at her. Maybe you will feel the same way as I have felt. Try to pay attention to the picture that I have uploaded in the post, of course you like it. Here are some beautiful pictures in my opinion.
Try to look carefully
