African snails doing tourism in Venezuela
He crawls where he passes with a very slow walk, leaving a slimy trail, his body is a shell, he looks blind but he is not.

Se arrastra por donde pasa con un caminar muy lento, dejando un rastro baboso, su cuerpo es una coraza, parece ciego pero no es.

Today as part of my participation in the weekly contest of #AmazingNature I brought these images of some snails that crossed my path or the other way around maybe I crossed theirs.
Very early in the morning at about 7 a.m. I was going to do my daily activities when I had to slow down my high-speed pace because I was about to step on one of the snails that were passing on the sidewalk of a busy road.
I was amazed to see several of these regular sized animals crossing the road and coming from the same road, towards a field later where the sidewalk is.
Hoy como parte de mi participación en el concurso semanal de #AmazingNature he traído estas imágenes de unos caracoles que se cruzaron en mi camino o al revés tal vez yo me cruce en el de ellos.
Muy temprano en la mañana a eso de las 7 a.m me dirigía a realizar las actividades diarias cuando tuve que frenar mi paso de gran velocidad porque estuve a punto de pisar uno de los caracoles que pasaban por la acera de una transitada carretera.
Me asombró ver varios de estos animales de tamaño regular cruzando la carretera y al parecer venían de la misma, hacia un terreno despues donde esta la acera.
I imagine that they had to spend all night crossing the highway to be able to reach the place where I found them, because there were several of them, in the photos it seems that it is only one, but they are several snail brothers 🤭
These snails belong to the species of giant African snails (Achatina Fulica) is a species of the land snail of the family Achatinidae, in the order Pulmonata
It is native to tropical Africa but in recent decades has spread to South America in Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela, do not ask me how it arrived in these parts, but I imagine that I travel by boat 🤔
Me imagino que tuvieron que pasar toda la noche cruzando la autopista para poder llegar al lugar donde los encontré, porque eran varios, en las fotos pareciera que es uno solo, pero son varios hermanos caracoles 🤭
Estos caracoles pertenecen a la especie de caracoles africanos gigantes (Achatina Fulica) es una especie de caracol terrestre de la familia Achatinidae, en el orden Pulmonata
Son originario del África tropical pero en las últimas décadas se ha extendido por Sudamérica en Colombia, Perú y Venezuela, no me pregunten como llegó por estos lados, pero me imagino que viajaron en barco 🤔
It can transmit several parasites although it can only spread diseases to humans after consumption, which is not very common. If it is not consumed, it is difficult or even impossible to transmit.
