One of the many flowers that are treat to our eyes are the Tulip flowers. No fragrance flower still, it always pulls everyone attention. I never knew it's name untill I discovered them around shantipath area of New Delhi. It was the multiple turnaround way to my office, that I often fall for its besuty. Shanti path is one of the posh area and entire path there is an array of neatly arranged banners and manicured, elegant rows of colourful tulips that welcome bystanders, visitors, and tourists. It was a treat watching these flower blooming.
Flowers attract people towards them. So the roundabout was always blossom woth various flowers. Suring this spring time, whoever visit the place, alwsys goes away with a satiated bliss. Multiple bed of different variety of tulips spread across the road alwsys leaves a long-lasting impression. The view always get mesmirizing at such vibrant colorful backdrop. Recently, during my visit to flower show, I again fall for its beauty.
At the peak of the tulip mania, the flowers were worth more than diamonds. There are over 150 species of tulips with a shocking 3000 varieties.
This time there were two variety on display. May be we are too early to the festival, as it was the begining time, and might missed out on other varieties. The light pink and a deep orangish yellow. both of them blooms fully and adding to its counter. Here are few of the picture I snapped from its kiosks.

As spring arrives, every year the local authority in Delhi organises the Annual Tulip festival. In this festival, Tulips of Different colors are brought from foreign and planted in the Shanti Path area to preserve for the future. And now, I have few of them in front of my eyes. It.was a wel ome treat watching these beautiful flower blooming everywhere.
