Who doesn't loves to go to hill ? I remember while I was in Delhi, we often find to visit nearest hill station. Places likes of Shima, Manali, Rishikesh and many other places were part of our weekend gateway. They were like our second home. I find such trip quite soothing and relaxing. Those were part of northern India.
Now as I shifted to Eastern India, I alway miss such hill trips. Especially those done with my friends. But now I found out some unknown territory in our own vicinity. Not too far away, the place looks like to be very refreshing. As my nephew just came back from a short trip, I was surprised to find out the freshness of this place. Situated at the extreme eastern border of India, Sikkim is lessor known tourist place. Looking at these picture just making me exciting to make it on my to do list.
The one thing I observed is the cleanliness maintained at this place. Northern hill station are seeing some regular tourist. Thanks to the fast life of Delgi NCR, many people loves to explore to these hill station with a hope to relax from dsy to day rush life. But this eastern portion remain untouched from.such rush. Only very selective tourist made up to this place, which help the place to remain so clean. Infact, every tourist have to make permit and any loitering and spitting is prohibited in the entire region.
For a moment, I does not feel to be in India, snowclad mountain, fresh air, clean environment. What else people needs to admire the gifts of nature. Sikkim is the state which have snow all through the year. One of the hot spot tourist place. But thanks God it remain safe till now and only few tourist made up to enjoy their life.
