Vevčani is a very unusual village, which is isolated in the mountains. It is located in North Macedonia, a short distance from Ohrid, which lake...
We were greeted by an unusual but effective pink setting, old payphones and a Zastava 750 car (nicknamed Fića) popular in the former Yugoslavia.
Even now, some can be seen on the road in good condition, although now they belong to old-timers.
After a rosy welcome, we walked around the city and visited the famous Vevčanski springs, which I presented to you last time.
There are 19 churches in the city, but the main one is the church of St. Nicholas.
It was built in 1876.
From the outside, it has a very unusual appearance, it does not remind me of an Orthodox church. There is a polished stone inside, which exudes the past centuries..
I don't take pictures of churches inside, I don't want to disturb the peace and light.
So I took photos from the outside, I went all around it.
So I took a picture of the view from the courtyard of the church, since it is on a slight rise, you could see the surroundings beautifully...
I hope I managed to share with you, the glow of the atmosphere and past centuries in this place..
Thank you so much for visiting my blog ❤️
Have a nice day and evening ☀️✨
