A walk in the Romanian mountains is always a wonderful feeling. Those ancient forests that remember the centuries, seem to have retained traces of the atmosphere of that time!
The sun warmed us as we trudged along the path to get as far as possible... The forest smelled of wild garlic... The slopes were green with fresh garlic leaves!
The fir trees were very tall and luckily they extended for most of the way, so we had protection from the sun!
The scent of conifers surrounded us for most of the way... As we got closer to the lake, the way became more and more beautiful.
The whole forest was full of various flowers!
Even though we were in a hurry, I managed to pick some wild garlic leaves! I chewed a few right away and put the rest in a bag and in my backpack!
Although I didn't go near the water, at least I took a selfie by this beautiful lake, which is not located on Mount Anini!
We were talking to each other while walking, and when I looked, there was a slipper placed between a tree tied with wire! 🤭 Still, a lot of tourists pass by here! 🤣
We reached the lake, while on the way I imagined myself wading my legs in the water, while enjoying the view....
Unfortunately, none of that happened, because we couldn't approach the lake as the shore was steep and high 😔
We rested by the lake and went on, we still had a good part of the way to reach the city where the bus was waiting for us!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog ❤️
Have a nice evening ✨
