I am passing through this beautiful community of #amazingnature lovers today to share with you another process of my 5 year old bonsai.
It was not yet due for a root cutting or pruning, there was another month to go, but I had to act immediately with it, since two months ago I left it in the care of my son, who watered the bonsai every day, but he did not notice that it had fungus on the leaves. Today in the morning, I noticed that all its leaves were covered with this fungus, and the best way to save the bonsai was to prune it, this had already happened to me three years ago so I knew what I had to do.
Since I pruned it, I decided to cut the roots and to change the soil for another fertilized with better nutrients and to make sure that the fungus did not damage the roots, since the plagues are sometimes accompanied by others.
I looked for scissors, trowel and mini pick to get down to work. I also looked for fertilized soil, gravel and charcoal so that my bonsai would have the necessary nutrients to get stronger.

Aún no le tocaba ni el corte de raíces ni la poda, faltaba un mes más, pero tuve que actuar de forma inmediata con él, ya que hace dos meses lo dejé al cuidado de mi hijo, quien regaba el bonsai todos los días, pero no se dio cuenta de que tenía hongos en las hojas. Hoy por la mañana, me percate de que todas sus hojas estaban cubiertas de ese hongo, y la mejor manera de salvar el bonsai era podarlo, ya esto me había ocurrido hace tres años atrás por eso sabía lo que debía hacer.
Ya que lo podré, decidí hacerle el corte de las raíces y cambiarle la tierra por otra abonada con mejores nutrientes y cerciorarse de paso si no sufrió daños en la raíz por el hongo ya que las plagas en ocasiones bien acompañadas de otras.
Busqué tijera ,paleta y mini pico para ponerme manos a la obra. También busqué tierra abonada, gravilla y carbón para que mi bonsai tuviera los nutrientes necesarios para fortalecerse.

Retire el bonsai de la vasija de barro y estaba ya cubierto de mucha raices, ya era eminente que le tocaba unos buenos cortes.
First I removed as much soil as I could and began to cut with the scissors all the small roots that are not as such the strong ones that help it to feed.
Primero le retire la mayor cantidad de tierra que pude y comencé a cortar con las tijeras todas las raíces pequeñas que no son como tal las fuertes que le ayudan a alimentarse.
I checked well its trunk to see if the pest had damaged it but it was not the case so I did not have to apply any type of natural fumigation, for the moment. I continued with its pruning, cutting all the branches to be sure that there will not be a single leaf that could have the pest, I left it completely clean.
Revise bien su tronco para ver si la plaga lo había dañado pero no fue el caso así que no tuve que aplicar ningún tipo de fumigación natural, por el momento. Continúe con su poda, cortando todas las ramas para quedarme tranquila que no quedará ni una hoja que pudiera tener la plaga, lo deje limpio completamente.
Now I prepare the clay pot by first putting gravel, then charcoal and finally a portion of compost, I put the bonsai of blackberry grapes, completing the pot with the remaining compost. Finally I take some ashes which is a very good natural insecticide and I put it on top in the form of drizzle to protect a little my bonsai.
Ahora preparo la vasija de barro poniéndole primero gravilla después carbón y por último una porción de tierra abonada, colocó el bonsai de uvas mora, completando la vasija con la tierra abonada restante. Por último agarro un poco de cenizas que es un muy buen insecticida natural y le colocó por encima en forma de llovizna para proteger un poco mi bonsai.
Leaving clean and planted the bonsai that surely in a few days begins to throw new and leafy branches I say goodbye to you.
So if you have a bonsai at home and it catches some kind of plague do not hesitate to prune it and sprinkle ashes on it, this is a very good natural insecticide.
Dejando limpio y sembrado el bonsai que de seguro en pocos días comienza a echar ramas nuevas y frondosas me despido de ustedes.
Así que si tienen un bonsai en casa y les agarra algún tipo de plaga no duden en podarlo y echarle cenizas ese es un muy buen insecticida natural.
