In my last post about the summer palace, I mainly covered the architectural beauty and my overall thoughts about visiting the place. I have made the post so long that I couldn't add the beautiful gardens with numerous flowers; most of them are really unknown to me. But I want to show the beauty of these flowers in this short blog about my visit to the Summer Palace in Beijing which is one of the most significant cultural and historical landmarks in China. It is a masterpiece of Chinese architecture and landscaping and can be considered one of the symbols of Chinese culture. It is a perfect example of how the Chinese emperors used nature and art to create a harmonious and beautiful environment. The Palace is famous for its architectural beauty, beautiful gardens with a large collection of flowers, colorful designs, and paintings everywhere.
The great time to visit the Summer Palace is spring and luckily I have visited at the perfect time this spring when everything becomes more beautiful, especially the nature is just waking up from the deep winter sleeping. Spring is a season of renewal and rebirth, where nature awakens from its winter slumber and blooms with vibrant colors and sweet fragrances from the surrounding with the clear and warmer sunshine.
Flowers, in particular, are a symbol of spring, representing new beginnings, hope, and joy and springtime is a celebration of the beauty of flowers. I am so happy to explore the magic and allure of spring flowers and the emotions they evoke by visiting the Summer Palace. Cherry blossoms are one of the most iconic symbols of spring, with their delicate pink and white petals adorning trees across Europe, Japan, Korea, and other parts of the world. And here in China are not missing it at all and for me, it is a great opportunity to explore the
the beauty surrounding me everywhere!
Everywhere inside the Palace area you can find a tremendous amount of flower trees with newly bloomed flowers. Though I have expected their intoxicating scent to be a reminder of the simple pleasures in life and the beauty of nature here the fragrance was quite mild not so strong. In addition to their symbolic meanings, spring flowers also have had practical uses for centuries, flowers have been used for medicinal purposes, with extracts from flowers such as lavender, chamomile, and echinacea being used widely. Even I notice here how popular Chinese flower tea here and for the first time I experienced a large variety of flower tea.
Another thing that I want to mention here is that generally in my country most of the flowers are like herbicide I mean looks like plants, not like large trees which are more popular for making gardens. But here I have seen most of the flowers are the kind of large trees and very few are smaller trees. Maybe the weather and the circumstances make such evolution here which is not clear to me for not being an agricultural or flower expert!
Natural beauty is beyond description during this springtime and I am convinced that the emperor was a really great nature lover everything here verifies the fact here. The artificial lake with so many canals with the walking roads by them with such flower trees and some amazing rows of trees make the total environment like a dreamy land in nature.
A place inside a megacity like Beijing will definitely make you feel that you are not so far from nature and the relaxing period you will pass here will be very calm and peaceful from the busy life of the city. I really love the natural vibe here and this place is more beautiful from the natural beauty aspects than the Forbidden Kingdom of the Beijing city center with the age-old Chinese emperor's main living place.
I hope you like my blog about my experience in the Summer Palace in Beijing and I am inviting you to get the experience in my upcoming blogs. And if you have any kinds of queries, you can ask me in the comments. I will try to answer at my level best.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention, I will catch you at the next one.
