Common Ice Finger is a slime or jelly-like fungus belonging to the family Ceratiomyxidae. This fungus is also often referred to as Icicle or Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa, in the genus Ceratiomyxa.
I took a photo of this slime mold growing on a rotten cotton or cotton tree. At first I looked for insects but what I got was Icicle mushrooms. The color of the mushroom is plain white and slightly translucent. Grows in groups, when exposed to sunlight, the fungus immediately shrivels up. It's been raining at my place for three days in a row. So that Icicle mushrooms grow and develop properly. The cotton tree or cottonwood is under the banana tree, really very shady.
Don't forget constructive criticism my best friend for me!.
