"Ma'am, please get out quickly! You have to see this!", exclaimed our office guard excitedly.
Perplexed, I rushed to the lobby, and out to the parking area.... And lo, I gazed upon the sun surrounded by a big ring, like a halo! It occupied half of the sky, and I wonder why I can see the sun directly even without a heavy protective gear.
It was almost 12noon and the sun is at its peak, shining brightly above us. There were very thin clouds and the shadow ring made the day a bit shady.
I was astounded, the same with the other officemates that witnessed it. It's a rare sight. In my more than 40 years of existence, it's the very first time that I've seen this very amazing view of the sun.

I hastily called my friends and family for them to glimpse this extraordinary sight. Unluckily for them, they didn't see it because of heavy clouds in their area. :(
In a tropical city like ours, Sun Halos are a very rare phenomenon. Storms are also infrequent.
This phenomenon happened 6 years ago in 2015, in Davao City. I am wondering when this happens again.
