Hello hivers, nature lovers and the whole community. This is my first post in this community and I'm glad it was this way, I went to the call of
and all his team who made this wonderful contest possible.
Without further ado, I want to present a beautiful and warm landscape that I enjoyed for a few days, where I left the hustle and bustle of the city and visited the town of San Juan de Rioseco-Cundinamarca, here in Colombia. The funny thing is that I only needed to be sitting on the balcony to enjoy the fresh air brought by its mountains and mild climate.
It is a small, beautiful town, my mother-in-law lives there, I had been here before, but this time I took the time to appreciate and document all the beauty that can be seen just by sitting on the balcony. Enjoying a good chat and feeling how it feeds my soul to appreciate how incredible nature is.
The most beautiful thing is that in the background of the photograph you can see the Magdalena River, emblematic in Colombia and the world, its waters are deep with fast currents, it is said that within it there are very strong current eddies that have "swallowed" more than one who has tried to swim in its waters, in addition to the diversity of animals it houses.
It is the longest river in Colombia, since it crosses a large number of departments, that is to say, a large part of its territory, besides being a source of income for the country, since a good part of its economy moves thanks to this great flow.
Very early in the morning the mountains of Cundinamarca were adorned with a radiant sun, a lot of breeze, but not the one that refreshes, but the one that brings with it that little heat, very typical of hot land.
There are days with lots of clouds, which does not allow to observe the river completely, others where it is clear and can be seen from afar very easily, also the shades of green with the blue sky is a wonderful contrast. All this thanks to the rain that is only seen in certain seasons, and is responsible for further beautify these beautiful mountains.
I have always been a lover of nature and even more of this kind of landscapes, where you think about how big nature is, how small we seem before it and that finally they are a perfect creation of God.
My favorite part of documenting this landscape through photographs was undoubtedly the sunset, where the contrast of colors is very intense, the oranges and yellows; also the clouds begin to descend and hide part of the background of this majestic landscape, while the sun hides.
It also brings with it a fresh breeze, the one that touches our face like a caress and comes as an incentive after a very hot day. Just observing the greatness of this landscape that I present to you makes me think that it is even better when we have the joy of contemplating it live.
I do not think that words can express the totality of what often cannot be explained when observing nature, it is a matter of feeling and appreciating. Taking a deep breath, closing my eyes and imagining that I am there again is very gratifying.
I have always thought how privileged the inhabitants of that town are, that just by going outside to take a breath of air and observe, they can enjoy how amazing nature is, I want to highlight its grandeur, diversity, and the way it varies as the day goes by.
