When we went for our walk last week, I turned the camera up as well... looking into the cottonwood trees, the turning leaves...
I love how the sun shines on the glossy yellow leaves... like bits of gold glittering amongst the green.
I love capturing the sun just barely hiding behind the leaves - giving a special glow to the image.
I love the tiny crab apples, lovely and red amongst the orange leaves of autumn. This kind of crab apple is nearly too small to bother with - though I might make a cider from them if they were mine - and more abundant.
More cottonwood branches. No orange on these trees, just yellow, bright yellow.
I didn't check out the kind of tree the red one was - I was sort of tired by then. But I liked the contrast made between it and the cottonwood.
Autumn is a gloriously beautiful season I find to be all too brief. So, I was quick to capture the pictures while I could - before the yellows, oranges and reds are all on the ground instead - covered by the snows that will be here soon.
