Another beautiful project has landed. How are you beautiful people of the great community?
It's my pleasure to share with you Mrs Kofi's outfit. A Ghanaian client who visited my office.
I have no idea how far my brand's name had gone, until Mrs Kofi showed up. I think every good work I out out there sends a message for me and help me sell my brand even to places my legs hasn't reached.
Emphasis on a very good job. It's not just to accept business deals, it's to make it open more doors of opportunities.
Mrs Kofi brought in an African print fabric to make a regular two piece outfit. Shirt and pants.
I started with drafting the pattern and transferring the pattern onto the fabrics for both front and back.
Then I joined the shoulder to shoulder, sides to sides, drafted the collar using the round neckline measurement. I also interfaced the collar to give it a very good stability as seen here, after which I proceeded to joining the collar to the already sewn shirt.
It came out looking very beautiful and neat.
On this picture, you can see the pants being hung on a cloth rack while the shirt was halfway sewn.
The next thing I did was right draft the sleeve.
Here's a clearer picture of the shirt without the sleeve yet.
I interfaced the shirt sleeve as well for structure and did the bagged out sewing techniques for a very neat finishing.
Let's take a closer view of the pants. I love to attach a zipper fly to any trouser I make. It gives it a very professional look.
Here's the back view of the lovely two piece outfit.
And here's the front view with the fancy buttons already attached.
I am confident Mrs Kofi will love this outfit when she comes for pick you tomorrow.
Images used are mine.
