Saludos a mis hivers de esta creativa comunidad #needleworkyourseason, amantes del arte con las agujas.
Ya comienza en mi país, esta temporada decembrina, ya con un poco más de frío, es por esto que nos preparamos con la elaboración de una pijama para niños, aunque se puede adaptar para niñas con sólo cambiar la tela o agregar algunos detalles más femeninos.
Les cuento que desde hace un tiempo, estoy realizando un curso de costura, para ir perfeccionando la técnica al coser, para poder estar a la altura de esta colmena y presentar creaciones con la mayor calidad posible.
Para elaborar esta linda y cómoda pijama, vamos a necesitar los siguientes materiales:
- 1 metro de tela, piel de durazno unicolor.
- 1/2 metro de tela, piel de durazno estampada.
- Hilo para coser del color que combine.
- Tijera.
- Máquina de coser recta o overlot.
Con todo lo que necesitamos a mano, Comencemos con nuestro proyecto.
Procedimiento:
- Realiza un patrón con una pijama que ya tengas, con patrones que ya vienen listos para copiar o si sabes tomar medidas atrévete y creálo tu, recuerda hacer los ajustes necesarios antes de cortarlo en la tela.
- Ahora corresponde el turno de marcar en la tela, nuestro patrón, comienza con la parte de abajo, marcamos el delantero, doblando la tela unicolor para que salga sin costura a los lados.
- Con la parte trasera procede igual a la delantera, ten en cuenta que aunque ambas partes se parecen, son diferentes ya que la trasera es un poco más grande y nos ayuda a que la parte de atrás tenga mejor caída, ajustándose mejor.
- Une ambas partes en la parte superior primero, dejando libre las piernas.
- Abre las partes enfrentando costura con costura, fija la parte inferior con un alfiler y procede a coser las piernas, en su parte interna.
- Corta una tira de 30 cm de largo, por 12 cm de ancho, cuidar que la tela quede del lado que estire, porque la usaremos para la cintura y hará la función de un elástico, recuerda que tiene que ser 6 cm menos que la cintura del pantalón, para que quede ajustado.
- Así para los puños de los pies, se usará el mismo ancho, pero esta vez serán 2cm menos de largo.
- Para fijar la faja, como los puños dividimos tanto las fajas como el ancho de los puños y el pantalón en cuatro, haciendo unos piquetes, para tomarlos como referencia para ir estirando y fijando las tiras al pantalón, con costura recta o en la máquina overlock.
- Ahora para la elaboración de la parte superior, al igual que la parte inferior haremos el molde, puede ser de otra pijama y si necesitas adaptarlo, toma las medidas, tranfierelas a tu molde para asegurar que que a la medida.
- Llegó el momento de cortar nuestra tela, usando nuestro molde, tanto delantero, como trasero y no te olvides de las mangas .
Recuerda para hacer la parte superior, primero fijar los hombros.
Ahora fija las mangas a los hombros, con costura recta o en la máquina overlock.
- Corresponde ahora fijar la camisa y la manga para hacer, una sola costura.
- Tanto para el cuello, como para la pretina , cortamos las tiras ,dos centímetros menos de largo y cm de ancho y las fijamos, procede igual que con la parte de abajo.

Pajamas for the cold of the holiday season

In my country, this december season is already starting, with a little bit colder, that's why we are preparing ourselves with the elaboration of a pajamas for boys, although it can be adapted for girls just by changing the fabric or adding some more feminine details.
I tell you that for some time now, I have been taking a sewing course, to perfect my sewing technique, to be able to be at the height of this beehive and present creations with the highest possible quality.
To make this cute and comfortable pajamas, we will need the following materials:
- 1 meter of fabric, unicolor peach skin.
- 1/2 meter of fabric, printed peach skin.
- Sewing thread of the color I combined.
- Scissors.
- Straight or overlot sewing machine.
With everything we need on hand, Let's get started on our project.
Procedure:
- Make a pattern with a pajama you already have, with patterns that already come ready to copy or if you know how to take measurements dare and create it yourself, remember to make the necessary adjustments before cutting it on the fabric.
Now it's time to mark on the fabric, our pattern, start with the bottom, we mark the front, folding the unicolor fabric so that it comes out seamless on the sides.
With the back part proceed the same as the front, keep in mind that although both parts are similar, they are different because the back is a little bigger and helps us to make the back part have a better fall, adjusting better.
Join both parts at the top first, leaving the legs free.
Open the parts facing seam to seam, pin the bottom with a pin and proceed to sew the legs on the inside.
Cut a strip of 30 cm long, by 12 cm wide, taking care that the fabric is on the side that stretches, because we will use it for the waist and will function as an elastic, remember that it has to be 6 cm less than the waist of the pants, so that it fits snugly.
So for the cuffs of the feet, the same width will be used, but this time it will be 2cm less in length.
To fix the waistband, as well as the cuffs, we divide both the waistbands and the width of the cuffs and the pants in four, making some picks, to take them as a reference to go stretching and fixing the strips to the pants, with straight stitching or in the overlock machine.
- Now for the elaboration of the upper part, as well as the lower part we will make the mold, it can be from another pajamas and if you need to adapt it, take the measurements, transfer them to your mold to ensure that it fits.
- It is time to cut our fabric, using our mold, both front and back and do not forget the sleeves.
- Remember to make the top, first attach the shoulders.
- Now attach the sleeves to the shoulders, with straight stitching or on the overlock machine.
- It is now up to you to pin the shirt and sleeve to make a single seam.
- For both the collar and the waistband, cut the strips, two centimeters shorter in length and two centimeters wider and fix them, proceed the same way as for the bottom.
