Hello friends👋🏻🥰I greet you from the little corner of my house the one I love the most, my sewing workshop to show you a work that I have finally finished this rainy and cool afternoon perfect for sewing😌🌧️I have finished as I mentioned this bodysuit that I will be wearing on the day of the beach which by the way is almost close if my vacation to the beach is approaching and I have wanted something very particular to go to the beach and is that if there is a beach there is sun but I do not want the truth to expose myself so much to the sun during the day there so I wanted to make this bodysuit especially for that to cover the part of the arms and chest that I feel is something which we touch more clearly also as is our face I do not say no but it would be a good opportunity to wear this garment for the first time on the beach.
Previously the clothes I used to wear to the beach were just a two-piece swimsuit but due to global warming now the weather is not the same as before and exposing ourselves so much to the sun can greatly affect our skin's rays, so if you would like to wear something like this garment, this simple tutorial will help you a lot to make a bodysuit to your measurements and how you can cut it, I will be using as a guide this image that shows me a pattern of a model that I want to make similar to that one but with a higher neck because the idea will be that it covers my neck a little, so without further ado let's get to work.

🖤Pasos a seguir:🖤
Steps to follow:
Paso 01
Step 01
Okay friends, I have started mainly by folding my fabric to start cutting the pieces with the measurement of the sweater placed in half, I am going to mark the edge of the fabric with chalk, leaving 1 cm of seam for the bottom, we place our panties and mark it with chalk too, in this way we have a whole piece that joins the sweater with the panties to form the bodysuit, I place the fabric double again to cut the two sleeves and of course we will cut a long strip for the neck, remember to cut the part of the armhole and the height of the neck that you prefer in this case as I have mentioned my bodysuit I will be making with a high neck in the shape of a "V".
Paso 02
Step 02
We are going to sew the pieces. First you can sew them by hand so that the fabric does not move or simply use the pins to join the pieces that we are going to sew. Then I will start by sewing the two parts from the shoulder up with a straight stitch and finishing with a zig zag. Once I have sewn both, I will open the bodysuit part and in the center of the armhole up I will place the sleeve in the middle and hold it with a pin so that I can sew it along the edge. I will also do the same with the other one to sew both sleeves.
Paso 03
Step 03
After sewing the sleeves, I will join them again and I will be sewing them from the sleeve to the cuff part to the bottom of the bodysuit, that is, both sides to seal it and I will finish with a zig zag, then I will make a hem on each sleeve at the cuff part.
Paso 04
Step 04
I then proceed to sew the bottom part which would be like the Panti piece, I will be sewing the edges and for this I will also hem it on all four sides, the two in front have their hem and the back one as well, then I will place the badge and I will sew it by hand first since as it is a small piece it always tends to come out of place, so for more security I have sewn it by hand then with a zig zag I have reinforced it in the back part I also did the same.
Paso 05
Step 05
Then to sew our V-shaped bias we will be sewing it as shown in the image in the shape of an inverted "V" or sideways there I have marked it, sew and cut the edges to pieces, then I proceed to fold it and this is how I have the bias design in the shape of a "V" then what I will do is hold the bias to the edge with pins so I can sew with a straight stitch all the way around the edge of the neck then I will turn it over and I will go over it on top also with a straight stitch and that's it, our bodysuit is finished friends.
🖤Resultado:🖤
Result:
For a better finish, my sewing friends, I'm only going to steam iron the collar part so you can see later how this part takes shape, it's just a matter of ironing it so the collar doesn't come out raised, and if you liked it, I'd be happy to know your opinion and if you'd share this blog. I'll leave you with photos of the final result and I'll say goodbye to you, wishing you a happy and beautiful afternoon.
