Hello, beautiful night 🌛! It's a pleasure to greet you. I hope you are all doing very well, dear and appreciated friends. I warmly welcome you to a new blog where I will be sharing with you the creative process of what we will do here step by step. Feel comfortable and thank you for being here reading this blog.✨💗
I was finishing this beautiful non-stretch fabric jumpsuit for a nice client who wanted this skirt jumpsuit with a slit at the bottom, technically I had never done this type of seams but there is always a first time right? 🤭so the time came to do it, I will share a little of what my experience was doing it, I also want to tell you that this type of jumpsuit or overalls can be made mainly in fabrics that do not tend to stretch much because I feel they lose a lot of shape, so I recommended my client to do it with non-stretch fabrics such as pants, drill, Indian and any type of fabric that does not stretch, I made a very cute button design that I loved very much and that she can easily put on, I hope you like this tutorial a lot and like me if it is your first time doing it you will see that it is very easy to make. 🧵🪡

Paso 01
Step 01
Well friends, I told you in the title of the cover of this tutorial that we would make our overalls for a larger size xl, so to cut the pieces I used a reference measurement from my client. I did it only with the top part of her blouse and the skirt, precisely also a measurement of a skirt, I cut two pieces, one front and back, the size that will be two tops with a very pronounced armhole because this part is always open in overalls, we cut the pockets, the buttonhole pieces, the skirt the width and length of my client's measurement and the straps, those are the basic pieces.
Paso 02
Step 02
We will first sew the edges of my overalls bust pieces so we can hem those pieces, and we will sew the buttonhole pieces. We will also sew and turn the straps before sewing those double pieces. Then we will join the pieces together with the skirt and sew the pocket at the top and the skirt on both sides.
Paso 03
Step 03
We will then sew the bottom edge leaving space on the sides to sew the opening, I also joined the piece of the buttonholes and where the buttons go right to the sides of the overalls so that my client can put it on very easily, we sew the top part inwards to reinforce these pieces where the straps go so that it is not noticeable and we sew with a straight seam making a hem in the part of the waist on the sides or sides do not forget to adjust well and sew the pieces retoping with a straight seam on top and finish the pieces well.
Paso 04
Step 04
We sew the hem again inwards 2 cm around then the buttonholes and buttons with needle and thread, also the buttons of the straps and thus we have finished the overalls 🥰.
