Paso 01

We proceed to cut the corresponding pieces. I used a measurement as a reference, in this case a long-sleeved top that I had. I cut this jacket pattern to half the waist, then I started cutting the front piece and the double back piece, I cut the sleeves, and the pieces for the pocket, then I cut the pieces to place the buttons on the shoulder that are visible, with this we have our pieces ready.

We move on to sewing our pieces and I have started mainly by joining the shoulder part with overlock stitching and straight stitching, then we topstitch over both shoulders then we sew the piece or facing that goes on the shoulders before finishing sewing the sleeve to the armhole.

Step 03
I sewed the facings and placed them at the center of the shoulders, and I positioned the sleeve to sew it to the armhole. Then I placed the button above the facing, one button on each side. We will sew the pocket pieces before attaching the lining and the collar. I will also sew them, placing non-woven fabric inside. I then proceeded to seal the side of the jacket, and then we will sew the waistband underneath it so we can insert our elastic.

Finally, after inserting the elastic at the bottom of the jacket's waistband, we'll place the hood inside. I made the lining the same way as the jacket, but without a collar. I sewed it by turning it inside out through the collar and waistband, then turned it right side out and tucked the lining sleeves inside the other faux leather sleeves. Next, I'll put elastic in the jacket's cuffs, sew the elastic to the edge, fold it inwards, and sew a straight seam. We sew the zipper inside the lining and the faux leather fabric, and finish it with a straight seam and topstitching. That's it!
