Good evening dear friends, I wanted to show you how I made this beautiful dress with a very simple aesthetic style for one of my clients. She wants to use it as a base layer and for everyday wear. She likes these dress styles and I feel the design suits her perfectly.
I like them a lot too, but I prefer classic dresses. I really like Scottish ones, especially if they have plaid prints, I love them! So, we'll be making this dress for her today, and I hope she likes it as much as I do, even though it's simple.

Pasos a seguir: | Steps to follow:
Paso 01
Step 01
We are going to cut the corresponding society in this case I cut the dress to 70 cm long I used a measurement as a reference to make the cut of the dress you can use as a blouse or miniskirt and cut it completely, then I cut the straps to 30 cm long and the bias of the front and back of the dress.
Paso 02
Step 02
We continue the process by sewing the pieces of the dress together. In this case, we're going to seal it along the sides. I've added an overlock stitch to make it much easier, then I added a straight stitch to reinforce the thread, and then we sew along the other side, joining the fabrics.
Paso 03
Step 03
Up to this point I have already assembled the side, the base piece which is the dress. Now we are going to sew the bias on the front and back. So we start by placing the bias on the inside, we sew it from the inside out with an overlock stitch, then we fold it inwards making a small hem and sew with a straight stitch on top, stretching the bias a little.
Paso 04
Step 04
Next, we'll take the other bias tape that we'll use for the straps and join it at each end. We'll sew it with a straight stitch, placing it at the bottom of the armhole. We'll sew it like the neck bias tape, from the back and front, inside out. We'll sew and continue sewing, making a hem to form the straps. That's how we finish our dress 🥰.
