I just finished a few things around the house and took the time I needed to share this tutorial with you on how I made a youthful crop top for summer days. These days I've been working with these kinds of essential garments because when it's hot, we opt for comfortable and cool clothing. The fabric I used for the crop top is a ribbed cotton type, perfect for hot days. Stay with me to enjoy this easy tutorial on how to make this blouse. Let's get started with the materials:

The top mainly has a mid-shoulder design. This piece is super easy to make. I started by cutting the front and back bodice pieces of the blouse, but we will cut both pieces as if we were making a peasant blouse, with the armhole cut to the middle of our armhole. And of course, we add a neckline to the front piece of the blouse so we can distinguish the front from the back. Then I cut a waistband or double rectangle. In this case, I cut two rectangles 20 cm long so that when folded, they would be 10 cm x 30 cm wide.

We then move on to the most fun part of sewing, "Sewing the pieces," and we will do this by sewing the sides together to seal our top.

Next, we sew the edge of our armhole to make a 1 cm hem inwards; the blouse should now be assembled without having attached the waistband or sash yet.

We will then seal the waistband at the sides and fold it. We will sew it to the blouse pieces at the top from the inside out so that the fabric is not visible on the inside. Then, we will make an internal hem of the part that is left unsewn to the piece and sew the entire edge. Let's not forget to sew the hem for the bottom edge; I always make it 1.5 cm or 2 cm.
