I want to share with you one of my fun transformations: a blouse with sleeves made from pantyhose 🤭 I had some tights I wasn't using anymore and I thought they'd be perfect for making sleeves for my simple lace blouse. You see, friends, what I did was first test if the fabric of my pantyhose was somewhat resistant, since I wanted to avoid them tearing when I sewed them with a zigzag stitch. The good thing is that they were somewhat resistant, and I wanted to risk cutting them. I didn't want to cut the pantyhose that had been with me for so long, but I knew that this transformation would be worth it, and my blouse that I had stored away was going to get a big change. So I cut the sleeves off my blouse, and then the pantyhose. Right after the crotch, I cut the armhole shape of the sleeve, and I cut two small pieces of fabric for the cuff or edge of the sleeve.

Before attaching the sleeve to the armhole of the blouse, I proceeded to sew the cuff of the sleeve. We will begin by joining the ends of each point of the cuff, sewing with a straight stitch, and we will place it from the inside out and sew from the inside with a straight stitch, stretching both fabrics.

After sewing the bias tape of the cuff inside, we will bring the cuff to the outside and fold a small facing over it and make a hem to create the edge of the cuff and sew or stitch over it with a straight stitch.

After sewing the cuff, I sewed the other one on the other arm in the same way, and we are going to join the sleeve to the armhole doing the same step as we sewed with the cuff, we sew inside with straight and zigzag stitches, with this we finish putting on some pretty sleeves and giving the blouse a transformation.
