Today, I have to work on special colorful sandals for my younger sister as a gift for her as she clocks new age. I say happy birthday to her today my sister Chiemela you shall live to see many more years ahead.
The sandal has different line knitted designs on it in order to give it more beauty. The sandals were knitted with a pink color yarn because pinks are always good combinations with the white top leather sandals. My younger sister just has natural fairness just like our Mother and me.
For the past few days now, I never knew what to do for my sister as a gift that she will appreciate because I senior her direct in the house and when we were still small we used to play, quarrel, and even fight together but if we have any problem those days we used to settle at that same time. So, for these reasons, I never knew what kind of a gift to present to her not until this early morning when my wife called me and tell me not to be bothered and that it will be better for me to give my sister what I do. My wife made me believe in her that my sister will value my knitting handwork. That was how I was able to come up with the idea of making well-pink sandals as a gift for my sister.
When I was making the sandals today, I was just bothered with the type of color sandals I would have chosen for my younger sister but I just chose pink because pinks are always for nice and charming people and also for great ladies.
In the process of making the sandals, I nearly made I mistake because my sister's birthday was all in my mind and please I don’t want anyone to blame me for that because she’s all we have in the house with her unique character. When I noticed that I was already given the sandals another design unlike the initial one that was in my mind, I have to start again with the sandals not minding the time it will cost again.
Today, I and my family keep celebrating her birthday and I want every member of the #NeedleWorkMonday community to join us and thank the one who made everything possible for her to be alive by seeing another year of her life. I and my family still planning to take her out today so that she will feel happier with us and her own friends as well.
Knitting of all kinds has really made way for me and my family because had it been that I do not have any knitting experiences about how to make sandals with the skill. I wouldn’t have known what to give my sister as a gift that she will appreciate more than the one I did with my hand.
