[ENG/ESP] Infinity scarf with speckled wool./Bufanda infinita con lana moteada.

I started the scarf without making a base chain because that edge would look a little stiff due to the type of yarn I'm using. In this sense, I chose to knit it starting with two chain stitches, then an overcast stitch, a loop and pass the needle through the first stitch of the chain, pull a stitch, a loop again and pull all the stitches. I cast on a loop again and pass the needle through the stitch next to where I am with the needle. I bring the yarn to the front, I will have three loops left on the needle, I cast one stitch off and continue the three loops and now I loop and cast all the stitches off. This first step is repetitive until completing approximately 1.3 meters of knitting and will be the basis for knitting the scarf. We close the round forming a circle.

La bufanda la empecé sin realizar una cadena de base ya que ese borde se vería un poco rígido por el tipo de lana que estoy usando. En este sentido opté por realizar un tejido partiendo de dos puntos cadena, luego un punto al aire, una lazada y paso la aguja por el primer punto de la cadena, saco un punto, una lazada nuevamente y saco todos los puntos. Doy nuevamente una lazada y paso la aguja por el punto próximo a donde estoy con la aguja. Traigo la lana hacia el frente, me quedara tres vueltas en la aguja, saco una y siguen las tres vueltas y ahora doy lazada y saco todo. Este primer paso es repetitivo hasta completar aproximadamente 1.3 metros de tejido y será la base para tejer la bufanda. Cerramos la vuelta formando un círculo.

For the following rows, we start with three purl stitches, one loop and advance as a purl in the next stitch followed by a chain stitch. Para las siguientes vueltas empezamos con tres puntos al aire, una lazada y avanzamos como una vareta en el punto próximo seguido de un punto cadena. Es decir, cada vareta estará separada por un punto cadena, formando un tejido parecido a cuadros pequeños . Este tejido está compuesto prácticamente de estos dos puntos. Tejemos hasta que hayamos completado aproximadamente 15 centímetros de ancho.

To begin to close the fabric, we knit a complete row of single crochet stitches. Remember that we have started without a chain base and we will knit a fabric similar to the one we have made as a base to give symmetry to the work. After we have completed the whole row of single crochet, we knit a single crochet at the end of the row and continue with a complete row of single crochet. This will match the two edges of the scarf as closely as possible.

Para empezar a cerrar el tejido realizamos una vuelta completa de puntos rasos. Recordemos que hemos empezado sin base de cadena y realizaremos un tejido parecido al que hemos hecho de base para dar simetría al trabajo. Después que hayamos completado toda la vuelta de puntos rasos realizamos un punto al aire al final de la vuelta y seguimos con una vuelta completa de puntos bajos. Este hará coincidir los más posible los dos bordes de la bufanda.

When we have completed the whole round we knit a tight stitch to close the knitting and cut off approximately 15 centimeters of excess yarn. I am not sure if it is too much but I prefer to have a long thread to discumulate the excess and not to unravel all the work. We do the same with the excess yarn we have at the beginning. We discombobulate it between the inside of the scarf using the needle. This is my project for this day. I hope you like it. Bye Bye.

Cuando hayamos completado toda la vuelta hacemos un punto bien apretado para cerrar el tejido y cortamos aproximadamente a 15 centímetros de hilo sobrante. No estoy segura si es demasiado pero prefiero tener un hilo largo para discumular el sobrante y no se nos vaya a destejer todo el trabajo. Lo mismo hacemos con el hilo excente que tenemos al inicio. Lo discumulanos entre la parte interna de la bufanda haciendo uso de la aguja. Este es mi proyecto para este día. Espero que les guste . Chao Chao.
